Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf in the world was the "Men's Putting club of St. Andrews" in Scotland and was founded in 1867. Europe spawned a mini-golf revolution; which didn't make an apperance in the United States until 1916. Popularity gained momentum in America with the advent of 'Tom Thumb Miniature Golf near Chattanooga, Thl in 1927. By the mid 1930's popularity was waning, and bothers'Joseph &Robert Taylor from Binghamton, NY set out to revive the game. Their cousin left behind windmills, castles and creative obstacles.
