Urban Putt
1096 South Van Ness Avenue
415-341-1080

Located in the heart of San Francisco's Mission district, Urban Putt is the City's first and only indoor miniature golf course. Urban Putt offers guests a fun, only-in-San Francisco experience with top-notch food and drinks, and a fantastical, high-tech 14-hole mini-golf course. Steve Fox-along with a dream team of industrial designers, robotics engineers, welders and artists-has created a technically sophisticated playground for people of all ages, where imagination has free reign and all of the senses are engaged. A vibrant and unique venue, Urban Putt is an equally perfect destination for a sporting round of mini-golf, family outing, sit-down dinner, company party, special event, or drinks with friends.

Urban Putt is housed in an historic Victorian building that had previously sat vacant since 1999, and was a mortuary for many years prior. While preserving many of the building's historic elements, Urban Putt has enlisted the help of local designers, artists and engineers to transform the space to reflect a design concept that is part Jules Vern, part Rube Goldberg, and all imagination.

Urban Putt's full-service restaurant upstairs, UP @ Urban Putt, serves eclectic California comfort cuisine under the leadership of Chef Dane Boryta, who has created a menu for UP that celebrates the American palate with an emphasis on the best organic and locally-sourced ingredients available. Food is available at two bars, one upstairs and one next to the course, and on the mini-golf green as well as at UP.

The bar program at Urban Putt, designed by Colin Carroll, features a creative and refreshing menu of beer and wine, as well as full slate of inventive cocktails.
